Dr. Oz, Thank you for your dedication and commitment to those who need healthcare. I’m an RN if 42 years and I’m glad health care fraud and waste are being addressed. Rural healthcare is definitely needed. I used to work in the remote area of Alaska and glad to hear they are going to get better health care. Thank you Dr. Oz.

Bryan Johnson said it best: better to rebuild the healthcare system from scratch in a way that maximizes human health and longevity than attempt to fix the myriad of issues with the current system.

  • @pugetsoundfarmer · 33 likes Feb 24, 2026

A lot of Americans don't go to a doctor on a regular basis because of the corruption within the healthcare system that pushes pharmaceuticals instead of looking for the root causes of disease and recommending lifestyle changes that focus on nutrition and exercise. This was revealed to be a greater problem than ever imagined during covid although many knew it existed prior.

Easily one of my favorites in the All-In Podcast series. The way Dr. Oz dives into topics like Trump's healthcare vision, AI-powered self-directed care, the GLP-1 drug landscape (and making them more affordable), the massive medical fraud crisis, and even touches on immigration/addiction ties—all without notes—really showcases his command of the material. Jason Calacanis and David Sacks hosting it live from Davors adds that extra energy too. Dr.Oz has been ahead of the curve on so many preventive health fronts for years. Introducing visceral fat (the dangerous "hidden" fat around organs) to the mainstream public was huge; he made it relatable and actionable way before it became common knowledge. And the pedometer push? Classic Dr. Oz—he was getting patients (especially women in urban settings like NYC) tracking 10,000 steps daily back in the early 2000s on his show and through initiatives, long before wearables like Fitbit or Apple Watch made it effortless. It was all about empowering people with simple tools to move more and own their health. He says he in the Change Business, 100 percent! He's earned that "America's Doctor" label through decades of translating complex medicine into practical advice, and now in his CMS role, it feels like he's applying that same direct, no-nonsense approach on a systemic level. Much gratitude to smart folks who are drawn to public service. They have it all, they are doing it for the country they love, thank you. God bless.

This podcast has been enlightening to me. I recently had an appointment with my general practitioner and he seemed irritated by my proactive approach to my own health care. I know he doesn’t like it when I talk about natural remedies for some of my health issues. Not even when I speak on my family drinking herbal tea. He says they can be the cause of some of my symptoms. Not true. I persisted with a recent condition of getting bumped and blood immediately being drawn to the surface of my skin. Primarily on my arms. He ‘argued’ with me, saying that it happens to everyone when they become our age, we bump something and get bruises. Timidity, I told him it was different than bruising. He got adamant and I got more insistent that it was different. He said he wasn’t concerned about it but if I was he would send me to a specialist. I said it was a concern, because it was not bruising so he turned around and told his assistant to set me up with an appointment with so and so and then walked away. Idk why I’m telling you this except I don’t know what to do. If I could do some of the things you talk about on here I would but I can’t afford to go to a doctor that won’t take my state funded insurance. I feel stuck!
