I watched religiously since episode 4 of this pod. I can’t even get through a full episode anymore.
-
Only tuned in to see what Sachs is going to say about Iran war..
-
10:09 Chamath is like the geopolitical Jim Cramer. If he predicts short war, we are fucked
-
David Sachs has phenomenal foreign policy instincts. So I'm 100% sure he will say absolutely nothing about the Iran debacle lol If this was Joe Biden, Sachs would have an aneurysm on camera
-
Sacks looks exhausted
-
Great strategy. Blow shit up, declare victory and let others deal with consequences.
-
Famous stupid quote from Chamath "The worst is behind us'......... LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLMAO
-
No Friedberg, no all in!
-
So why did we start this war ????
-
Thank God you guys are in business, not in foreign policy
-
😂 Chamath pledging 5% of his income to charity, that would be a black swan event to a black swan.
-
I wonder if any Chamath family members serve in US Army
-
They are firing at ships because you’re bombing them - Brad!
-
Sacks looks worried.
-
Chamath has developed a bond-villain laugh
-
Jason's "kitchen sink" (4 points) is 100%
-
David Sacks is on his knees with a ball gag
-
thanks guys, i didn't realize neocon wars were only neocon wars if spreading democracy is one of the stated goals, thank god we are not in a neocon war, i am relieved
-
And you self proclaimed geniuses helped to usher this disaster in.
-
Maybe if the capital class didn't offshore every job they could, no one would care about taxing them. Just a thought
-
So the besties predicted 5-6% gdp…..AS LONG AS the administration doesn’t do anything to prevent 5-6% GDP?😂
-
What is Chamath talking about. China is still getting oil from Iran... I also seem to remember everyone blaming the US for failing to negotiate with Russia. This administration bombed the negotiators twice! Talk about war of choice.
-
Been an alliner for a while now, and was severely disappointed about the war perspective a few episodes ago. Thank you Jcal 15:52. THAT WAS ALL WE NEEDED even though some things are beyond our control. Thank you!
-
Chamath says state govts 'waste money,' when millions of investors lost money on his SPACs.
-
Shame these guys drank the cool aid. I use to really enjoy it.
-
This Iran section will age like Milk
-
Does chamath know Russia is ready to replace oil from any loss from Iran and Venezuela and Iran still allows Chinese vessels to move 😂 wtf is this guy talking about the Iran war is sum “strategy” 😭
-
I love how he says this isn’t my personal view when its so obvious it is.
-
used to love your show so much because you called out all the shit Now you are the propagandists towing the party line into wars. The entire thing was all built on no more wars.
-
Wow you really can read the truth in Sachs facial expression.
-
Watching up from episode 2 this is pure pain
-
Jcal, again, “I didn’t kitchen sink it, I didn’t, I didn’t. Really, I didn’t kitchen sink it.” You make good points. Let them rest on their merits.
-
Damage control team in action, congratulations
-
Jcal's "kitchen sink" is actually spot on and Sacks gets it even if he cannot say it as explicitly. Chamath and Brad don't have a clue about geopolitics and are very, very dangerously wrong about the whole thing.
-
I have watched this group in different formats for years. I don’t think you understand how deep we are in this.
-
Jason was absolutely right , proves that he isnt a boot licking puppet like the rest of the kitchen sink guys
-
So the solution proposed here is: "Let's just leave like cowards and if there's still chaos at the strait and for our partners in the gulf let's say to China (who has always been very passive): hey, you handle it now, we make enough oil for ourselves, that's a you problem now (still won't stop prices at the pump in US from ballooning, prime example of how isolationism doesn't work in a global world)". On top of that it's so much not a problem that they lifted oil sanctions on Russia. Great signal that sends.Tough world superpower talk right there. Start some shit, not being able to finish it without being dragged deep into it, and leave the mess to clean up to others. Like kids giving a first punch and then counting on others to separate the fight before having to deal with a counter punch. I really hope the US can secure and control the strait and remove that joke of a son as "supreme" leader and gets out clean I'm sure allies around the world can stomach some pain for a while, but wtf man...
-
18:13 the way they tried to shut him down 😊
-
All four of these guys never met a mirror they didn't fall in love with
-
They are all so desperate to manage JCal it’s borderline uncomfortable. This all needs to be parked until Sacks is out of the administration.
-
Wow! Number 1 money talks podcast in the world, congratulation to being completely spineless guys!
-
Jay Cal is the only honest voice in this podcast
-
I still miss the intro music.
-
Chamath nailed it on the AI investment - Sacks no only looks tired, his claim of never finding enough engineers is the myth across STEM that was never true.
-
I'm impressed Chamath is questioning the AI revenues.
-
Putin has indicated a willingness to replace any oil deficit China is facing if the Iran war continues much longer. Bringing Russian energy to China is a 3rd order effect that doesn't seem to have been part of the calculus when attacking Venezuela and Iran.
-
It wasn’t a Kitchen sink. It was the truth he’s blowing it!! shitting the bed!!
-
well they just attacked Kharg island... So doesn't look like an off ramp to me!
-
Expecting negotiations from Iran after they killed the leader during the negotiations...
-
Getting rid of Noem didn’t “correct the ice issue”, JCal.
-
I'm quite certain that Chamath's point about the experimental rev. will be played again and again, once the media gets a hold of the sound bite. It's refreshing to hear the on the ground reality. Brad's B-hole definitely clenched up when he took off with it.
-
Always here for a new all in !
-
They have shot themselves in the foot so often how can anyone think they are not anything but sycophants
-
There is good evidence that China is still getting about 1.2mbl per day of Iranian oil which is around 90% of normal. Also, Iran has 200mbl of floating stock already located close to China. It seems unlikely that China is currently hurting, or even particularly worried about the next few months given the size of this buffer. China also receives Russian oil, and it is likely that Putin is happy to increase that volume. Hormuz being closed impacts the price of oil but doesn't stop it. Just money. Destruction of critical infrastructure in the gulf states is a huge problem if the Iranians escalate. Its hard to imagine that this scenario wasn't fully planned for before the war. If it wasn't our leadership is thoroughly incompetent. Finally, there is a limited supply of bombs, rockets, etc. both in the US and in Israel. Easy to say bomb them into capitulation, but the ordinance is literally absent. Logically, there has to be a near term completion on the horizon.
-
Preach Jason
-
Today the main thing we learned is that these are wonderful at tech issues, and not so much on politics.
-
Chamath needs to launch a couple more SPACS Which will wreck our economy.
-
Sachs's analysis of our current situation in the ME is a thoughtful assessment...
-
Love that Chamath doesn’t over hype all the ai stuff.
-
So why did they start a war? Because there is no weapons of mass destructions in IRAN ... Why don't they go for war in North Korea... Because they really have weapons of mass destruction 😂 Moral: Every country should have a reasonable amount weapons of mass destructions to avoid bullying by others 😁😁
-
Revenue depends on consumer spending, spending depends on income, and income depends on jobs. If companies replace workers with AI at scale, they may weaken the very demand their revenues rely on. And the effect cascades: when white-collar workers earn less, they cut spending on housing, dining, and travel, which then hits blue-collar jobs as well. It’s a chain reaction through the whole economy.
-
22:00 This was a war of choice, Brad. It was not necessary. There was no imminent threat. This has become the All In Warmonger podcast.
-
Good questioning of LLMs. I use them for historical and literary research, but they are often wrong which in some fields would be fatal..
-
I still don’t understand why we started this war of choice? This panel is also not explaining it either.
-
The bombing of innocent people in Lebanon by Israel … any thoughts? Would love to hear Chamaths 2 cents if it was Sri Lanka!!!
-
I think it was Bahrain not Kuwait
-
Claude is just a superior product
-
I have prime example. My fiancee went to a thyroid Dr. He did a biopsy on the first visit and scared the s—t out of her. A week later He calls and said she had 30 % chance of cancer and to come in for an operation to cut half of her thyroid out. I researched 3 Dr’s. One in Houston and 2 other counties. I said what are the other options. He said we can do a deeper cell test. I knew the answer. I said do that first. A week later he calls back and said I’ll see you in a year. You have a 1% chance. Mfer. If I didn’t know the answer she would have gotten her throat cut and pills the rest of her life. So don’t trust the Dr’s Research yourself.
-
The reason the US is so negative about AI compared to China is because the American people understand that our government is run by big tech cronies. We are tired of these rich people having so much control over everything. How do I invest in anthropic? Oh I am not rich enough so I can’t. The system only benefits the wealthy people.
-
Jason is not a moderate. Why does he keep saying this?
-
Great show! I’m living proof of how AI and data sovereignty can change lives. Two weeks ago, I got my first OTC CGM. By feeding my raw data into an AI to identify patterns and research solutions, I’ve dropped my average glucose from 160 (7.4% A1C) to 110 (estimated 5.4% A1C) through lifestyle changes alone (I refuse to take metformin, and the HMO wouldn't approve Jardiance) I used to wake up at 160; now I’m stable at 100 (sleep). The AI helped me realize that while I can handle half a bag of chips, fruit spikes me to 200—something I never would have known without this tech. Governments shouldn’t have the right to gatekeep the tools we use to understand our own bodies. Instead of just pushing GLP-1s and no-AI-medical, the FDA should be making CGMs cheaper and more accessible so people can solve their own problems. If there’s ever a class action for our right to use these tools, count me in!
-
Going long on oil after watching this video.
-
Brutal to listen to these days, unfortunate.
-
When your are losing the war it’s best to declare victory and be humiliated !
-
hahaha Chamat's face when Brad sounded like "will put booth on the ground" Glad that got asked ("Will What?!") and answered again.. phew :)
-
Thank you for the show.
-
The first 6 months onboarding agents into an enterprise will show highest overage spending. Devs are building SDD packages, custom models, proprietary copilot tools etc which are consuming enormous token spend. As repos are solidified and rails are put on the specs, expensive models become less imperative while the spend gets under control.
-
Reading the comments before watching. Yup. I wondered why they'd even allow honesty.
-
JCal - thank you for always being the voice of reason
-
Just want to say: 100% pro this operation American here. Let's stick it out and help the Iranian ppl.
-
i must give Sacks props cos for the last few weeks Chamath and Jason did nothing but sing praises to this administration for starting this war
-
Well done JCal for speaking truth to this panel. Sacks also, in a more sugar-coated way, as he's in the gov, said exit immediately. And ofcourse the nuclear threat is called. The same "weeks away" threat they've been talking about for 30 years.
-
I’ve been a. Long time listener to the all in podcast. David sacks is a VC and has a large personal interest in the region through his “craft ventures” firm which invests heavily in the region. He was the subject of intense senate scrutiny for his emirate ties He also was personally negotiating with Al Nahyan for the AI chip deals, so honestly I can’t take his public propagandizing seriously. He is clearly upset his deal making ability/reputational influence is being undermined
-
Great show for Business Tech. Leave the Geopolitics to others.
-
Karp sound like he's on an episode of Antiques Roadshow.
-
I can fit my keyboard in Brad’s shoulders
-
I respect and agree with a lot of what you guys are saying, but if you want to have more data centers, you need to make them suck less for their neighbors. PERIOD. We don't see warehouse is getting protested but we do see data center is getting protested? Why? They are so loud. Fix that and then you can have your compute.
-
Jason..." could have." COULD. WHAT ABOUT RIGHT NOW! THIS VERY MOMENT!!!
-
Let’s get friend of the pod Lutnick back on
-
Jason the only person with common sense
-
One of the most amazing episodes so far
-
Great conversation, I agree with Chamath’s analysis.
-
Will be curious to know sachs view on DoW vs Anthropic
-
I finally figured it out. Jason is playing the role of Jessica Tarlov on The Five.
-
Feels like watching Don’t look up 2😂
-
how much of those companies are customers that are startups that will fail?
-
Brad was outstanding, can i just say🍾🍾🍾
-
Very insightful and every young college age student needs to be listening to this. Light bulbs would come on....
-
Please show me the chart that shows how accurate polymarket predictions are. Thank you.
-
39:38 Yes, Sacks, it's not in Austin, TX. It's in CALIFORNIA. Moving back anytime soon?
-
01:07:00 - I appreciate the chance to submit a survey. I’ve watched almost every episode.
-
47:44 til 1:20:22 was one of the best segments in a while
-
David Sacks always swoops in with tempered logic. Love that. Chamath works hard to analyze from every angle.
-
I'm grateful to be included in your discussions. You may have some angles that are self serving yet the group continually come together on a mega level - [Where goodness for all has a very strong place in what's communicated], thanks. Everyone contributes to this.
-
Seriously this to me was actually one of the best episodes in a while - really important perspectives being debated. So while apparently many didn't like it, I like that tough questions are being asked and debated.
-
Good points from David Sacks. Humanitarian perspectives also involve the average American families, they are having a tough time making ends meet. We need to take care of our average people. So please use your influence to end this war.
-
Finally I hear a non-dev giving another point of view about the current state of AI
-
“Working for the Americans who don’t own securities! “ Man this is the best and truest line in this podcast. Love it!
-
Why say you’re the #1 podcast in the world when it’s clearly not the case as much I enjoy it on a regular basis.
-
Great idea, David! We need a positive movie about AI and how we can bring about a healthcare revolution! Starting with the basics - getting an appointment, reading mammograms, and end the movie with the 'obliteration' of the evil insurance companies!!!
-
Chamath actually had a great point on AI
-
Jason is the only one who has a grasp on what the average American is going through and how they see the world and all the uber rich just pigging out more and more at thier expence.
-
This year, can you just do a live stream of the conference? Awesome job last year cutting up all the interviews. I watched all of them and it was super interesting in educational. I just don't wanna have $5000 to go to a conference, would be cool to feel like you're there. Not asking for full access or anything like that just kinda like a good quality camera that's running in the background I don't know think about it. Thanks.
-
This show continues to be top quality content 💎
-
Whenever Jason speaks the facts, the guys gang up and disregard his him. Jason keep up the truth👊🏼
-
This was one of the first episodes in a while that I could tolerate. Sad that it takes going to a war for some reality to set in.
-
At 20m10s Chamath’s analysis is censured!?!?! Please don’t hurt the All In brand and make us lose trust. I love you guys and wish you the best.
-
The Off Ramp can't be confidently traveled... until AFTER the Straights of Hormuz opens forever.
-
this is the ideas on different ways to throw bread crumbs thrown out to the masses... Omfg these guys are number # alright
-
Feels like i wake up, all suddenly, the all star crew is not totally blind.
-
its uncertain at the moment but chill and proceed dudes
-
Great job Brad and Chamath!
-
33:21 Fascinating pivot. Just a few months ago, Chamath predicted a 'Software Factory' where agents would replace entire engineering teams. Today he’s saying there isn't a single example of 'sustained positive margin expansion' from AI in the enterprise and that it's all just 'test budgets.'?
-
They need to talk about a Covid style UBI and debt relief . But it’s good they mentioned how angry and scared people are because of job displacement. But it seems like the backlash turns into unrest and then reform. So it needs to play itself out
